SmartSoft games on a quiet afternoon, anyone else?
Afternoon got slow after I finished the dishes and didn’t feel like starting laundry yet. Opened a game a coworker had mentioned from SmartSoft just to see the style. Simple layout, not many moving parts, and I clicked through a few rounds while the sun moved across the table. Nothing big happened, just a couple of small hits that didn’t change much. Closed it when I finally stood up to fold clothes. Do their games usually stay that plain, or did I land on one of the quieter ones?

I notice how fast some of these load compared to the ones that make you wait on an intro. Watched a friend open a few on his phone while we waited for food and he was already playing before the order was called. Looked clean, not much clutter. I grew up with machines that took a second to spin and made a louder clunk. These feel lighter. I don’t stay long enough to learn any patterns. Mostly just see if the buttons sit where my thumb expects them. Different from the tables I remember at family events, those had more waiting between hands.
