Meet Clara the Clefty! Clara is now available for adoption. Clara is a black tri piebald girly girl! Now, 4 month olds and weighs approximately 5 pounds. She is a very special baby because she was born with a cleft on her nose, lip, and roof of her mouth. She was tube fed until she was 3 months old, and now eats dry kibble and drinks water like a normal puppy. The cleft is completely cosmetic, and this sweet pup not only functions normally but has a playful fun personality. She plays well with other dogs and requires no extra medical attention. She is dewormed and up to date on vaccinations. Most pups who are born with a cleft require surgery, but Clara was blessed with only the occasional messy face after her meals, which let’s be honest, is the cutest thing ever! Now that this angel is healthy and strong, she is ready for her forever home.
For the foster families' safety and health of the puppy, we do not disclose specific locations. We don't set up meet and greets prior to inquires for sanitary purposes. FaceTime/ Skype is available. Once the new family is chosen, we will guide you through a step by step process to bring your new baby home.
