Blog traffic stuck and need real seo guidance

Hello folks, hoping to hear from someone more experienced. Running a personal blog for a couple of years, posting fairly often, and still organic traffic is super low. Articles get some views when I share them, but from Google it’s almost dead. Did basic keyword research, filled in meta descriptions, installed an SEO plugin, but it doesn’t feel like it’s moving the needle. Maybe I’m missing something bigger like site structure, internal links or technical issues. How would you figure out what’s wrong and where to focus first if you were in my shoes?

From what you describe, it sounds less like a “small tweak” problem and more like missing an overall SEO strategy for the blog. Usually I start with checking how Google actually sees the site: crawlability, indexation, mobile version and speed. Then I look at how topics are grouped, whether there are clear pillar articles and supporting posts, and if internal links help users move naturally between them. At that stage a specialised SEO team such as progress web can be really useful, because they not only optimise separate pages but also help cluster topics, build a sensible content roadmap and keep everything aligned with search demand rather than random ideas. Once the structure and priorities are clear, every new article works to strengthen a topic instead of just adding another isolated post, and that’s when rankings and organic visits start to grow more steadily.
