Had to reinstall Windows in a hurry, now I can’t customize the interface

The situation is critical: I caught a nasty virus and had to format my drive and install the system from scratch. Everything seems to be working, and the drivers are installed, but the system is currently in some kind of stripped-down mode. In the personalization settings, everything is grayed out it’s impossible to change the theme or the wallpaper and that annoying watermark is just sitting there. I don't have any spare money for a key right now, and working with the OS looking like this is unbearable; it’s a total eyesore. Are there any proven methods to quickly restore the system's normal look so it stops complaining about the lack of a license?

I ran into constant activation warnings after a system refresh and ended up researching different ways people handle it without paying for new licenses, and I noticed that many forums talk about local emulation of activation services as a workaround; right in the middle of that deep dive kmspico and saw technical explanations about how it mimics a Key Management Service to satisfy the OS checks, but I also read cautions about antivirus flags since such utilities can carry unintended scripts, so I approached with care and monitored my system during the process to avoid anything unwanted. 👍
